This organizer was not an order — it was created as a special gift for my wife’s acquaintance. In peacetime, he was a talented chef, but when russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine, he volunteered to join the army.

For its creation, I used leather that I had evacuated during the first months of the invasion. At that time, I dismantled my first workshop with my own hands, saving every piece of material and every tool, not knowing whether I would ever have the chance to return to my craft. This leather carries the memory of those dramatic days when life had to be rebuilt from scratch.

That is why we engraved Ukrainian symbolism on this organizer for knives and other chef’s tools. It became a mark of unity between craft and service, a reminder that even in the darkest times we do not lose our identity and strength.
