This personalized leather cigar case is a real completed Mureli Workshop project created using our Hephaestus Series model as the starting point.

The customer selected the existing construction and added personal details — a large custom monogram on the front and a name embossed near the lower edge of the cover. The result is an individual cigar travel case designed specifically for its owner.

Projects like this demonstrate how one established construction can maintain its functionality while developing an entirely different character through leather color, embossing, and personalized details.

Dark Brown Leather + Contrast Stitching

This project is made from natural top-grain calf leather in a deep Dark Brown color.

The rich brown leather is paired with warm contrast stitching and metal zipper hardware, creating a classic appearance without unnecessary decoration.

The leather body closes completely with a zip-around closure, helping keep cigars and accessories together inside one organized case during transport.

Removable Solid Oak Cigar Tray

One of the defining features of this construction is the removable solid oak insert developed specifically for the Hephaestus Series.

In the photographs, the insert is shown with three individual positions for cigars.

The oak insert can be removed from the leather case and used independently as a small tabletop cigar tray at home, in a lounge, or while relaxing outdoors.

When the insert is not needed, the interior space can also be used more freely for cigars or other personal items.

Separate Storage for Cigar Accessories

The opposite side of the case provides dedicated storage for compact accessories.

The photographs demonstrate space for items such as:

Separate leather pockets and holders help keep accessories away from the cigars and give each item its own place while the case is being carried.

This case demonstrates the personalization possibilities of the Hephaestus Series and how the original design can be transformed into an individual piece with a custom monogram, name, or logo.

Please note: cigars, cigar cutter, lighter, and other accessories shown in the photographs are used for demonstration purposes only and are not included.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
