This personalized leather corporate planner is a real custom project completed by Mureli Workshop for one of our returning business clients. What makes this project especially interesting is that the client did not simply reorder a previous model — instead, they combined elements from two different Mureli designs into one new configuration.

We originally created a custom red Floater leather corporate ring binder notebook with a removable business organizer. The client liked the functional interior layout, so the same basic organization concept was retained for this new project.

At the same time, the client wanted to redesign the exterior and use the distinctive closure from our Butterfly Wing refillable leather journal. The result is a hybrid corporate organizer: a functional removable business insert on the inside combined with a decorative butterfly-shaped magnetic closure on the outside.

A Custom Corporate Project for International Business

This organizer was created for an international trading company based in Portugal. The configuration makes it particularly suitable for companies whose employees work with international customers, partners, suppliers, distributors and business contacts across different markets.

Custom Red Floater Leather

For this client, we use a specially selected red Floater leather that has become part of the visual identity of their previous Mureli orders.

Floater leather has a pronounced natural grain and works especially well for products intended for frequent use in offices, meetings and travel. The rich red color gives the organizer a recognizable corporate appearance even without contrasting logo color.

The inside of the main cover is finished with dark genuine suede, creating a strong visual contrast with the red leather organizer insert.

The exact shade of red shown in the photos was selected for this particular corporate project. For a new business order, we can offer available leather colors or discuss a custom corporate color depending on quantity and production possibilities.

Butterfly Wing Magnetic Closure

The main visual feature of this version is the Butterfly Wing closure.

Instead of the more restrained exterior used on the previous corporate model, the client chose a decorative butterfly-wing construction with magnetic fastening.

This allows the planner to remain a professional business accessory while giving it a more distinctive and recognizable character.

Refillable 6-Ring Corporate Notebook

The planner uses a 6-ring mechanism, so the pages are not permanently bound into the notebook.

Pages can be added, removed, rearranged or replaced as needed.

Compatible paper sizes:

• A5 — 148 × 210 mm
• 8.5 × 5.5 in — approximately 216 × 140 mm

The planner can be supplied with 100 replaceable sheets. Depending on the order configuration, lined, grid or blank paper may be available.

For this repeat order, we reused a custom metal embossing die previously created for the client. This allows the same company logo to be applied consistently across different leather products and future production batches.

Pen, cards, cash, USB drive and other accessories shown in the photographs are used only to demonstrate the organizer's functionality and are not included.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
