This project is a good example of the complete path of a custom business order — from the first physical sample to the finished wholesale production run.

The client initially ordered a single leather check presenter sample. We prepared several additional versions in different leather colors so the material, texture, embossing, and interior construction could be evaluated not only from photographs, but in person.

After receiving the samples, the client selected the final version and placed a wholesale order.

Created for a Mediterranean Restaurant & Lounge

For the final version, we used a combination of deep Navy leather and gold logo branding.

For a restaurant or lounge environment, this creates a more distinctive evening character than traditional brown or black restaurant accessories.

The dark blue leather remains refined and understated, while the gold foil logo creates a clear visual accent and stands out well against the surface.

This combination works especially well for:

• Mediterranean restaurants;

Receipt Pocket + Card Slot

The interior was designed to remain simple and practical for everyday restaurant service.

The large pocket can hold a guest check, receipt, cash, or returned change.

On the same side, there is a separate smaller slot for a payment card.

This allows a server to present the check, receive a card or cash, and return everything to the guest in one organized restaurant check presenter.

This format may also be described as a:

restaurant bill holder, guest check folder, payment presenter, or restaurant receipt holder.

These terms are useful because different restaurants and hospitality businesses often use different names for the same type of accessory.

Navy Leather + Suede Interior

The exterior is made from genuine Navy leather.

Inside, we used soft suede in a closely matching dark blue tone, creating a consistent appearance when the presenter is opened.

The suede provides a soft interior surface, while the outer leather defines the overall structure and appearance of the piece.

Using closely related shades instead of a strongly contrasting interior gives this version a particularly cohesive look suited to refined restaurant and lounge branding.

Gold Logo Branding

The exterior features the Lulu Lounge Mediterranean logo applied in gold foil.

For a new restaurant, hotel, bar, or corporate project, we can work with your own logo, business name, or custom graphic design.

Gold foil works especially well on dark Navy leather because it creates strong contrast and keeps even smaller or more detailed branding clearly visible.

From Samples to a Finished Wholesale Order

This project did not begin immediately with a large production run.

Before final production, the client received several physical samples in different leather colors and was able to compare them in person.

The sample project shows the different colors and construction options prepared before the final decision was made.

This page, by contrast, shows what happened after the samples were approved — the finished wholesale order produced in the selected Navy color.

For restaurants, hotels, bars, and hospitality groups, this process can be especially useful when the material, leather color, branding, and overall feel of the product need to be physically reviewed before a larger quantity is produced.

Sample First, Then Volume Production

For a new business customer, we can also begin with a sample.

This allows you to evaluate:

• the actual leather color;
• the texture of the material;
• the size of the check presenter;
• how your logo looks on the leather;
• the embossing or foil color;
• the interior configuration;
• the overall feel of the finished piece.

Once the sample is approved, the project can move into the main production stage.

A Real Completed Mureli Workshop Project

The photographs on this page show a real wholesale order completed by Mureli Workshop, not a concept or digital rendering.

This project also demonstrates how one established check presenter construction can be adapted for a specific restaurant by changing the leather color, interior configuration, and logo treatment without redesigning the entire product from the beginning.

Please note: receipts, cash, payment cards, and other items shown in the photographs are used only to demonstrate the functionality of the check presenter and are not included.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. By default, we sell our products without personalization. If you would like to add your own logo, name, or text, please leave your request in the Comment field during checkout.

In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
