This black leather check presenter pad began with a custom request from one of our restaurant clients.

The client originally contacted us about our single-page leather menu board. After discussing the leather color, dimensions, and intended use, we adapted the design for presenting restaurant bills instead of menus.

The result is a compact, flat check presenter with a black suede surface, a diagonal leather pocket for receipts, and a small leather pen loop along the side.

A Practical Check Presenter for Restaurants and Bars

Unlike traditional book-style check presenters, this pad doesn't need to be opened. Everything the guest needs is already on one side.

The server slips the receipt into the corner pocket, places a pen in the leather loop, and brings both to the table together.

The flat surface gives guests a convenient place to review the bill and sign a receipt when required. There's no need to hold a folding cover open while writing.

Measuring 125 x 230 mm (approximately 4.9 x 9.1 inches), the pad fits comfortably on smaller tables and bar counters without taking up much space.

This format works particularly well for hotel lobby bars, cocktail lounges, cafes, and restaurants looking for a simple alternative to a traditional bill presenter.

Diagonal Receipt Pocket and Leather Pen Loop

We kept the construction simple and focused on how the check presenter would be used during service.

A diagonal leather pocket holds the receipt at one corner, leaving most of the paper visible. Along the side, a small leather loop keeps the pen with the pad.

These two details make the check presenter easy for staff to prepare and convenient for guests to use.

There are no extra compartments or folding panels. The receipt, pen, and writing surface are all in one place.

Black Leather with a Suede Front

For this order, we combined genuine black leather with soft black suede.

Suede covers most of the front surface, while the diagonal receipt pocket and pen loop are made from smooth leather. The back is finished in smooth black leather, with stitching around the edges.

The contrast between the two leather textures gives the pad a clean, understated appearance without unnecessary decorative details.

Black also makes it easy to incorporate into different restaurant interiors, from modern cocktail bars to traditional hotel lounges.

Custom Logo Branding on the Front or Back

The photographs show an order we made with a gold-colored LOBBY BAR logo on the diagonal pocket.

We chose this placement because it keeps the branding visible without taking space away from the receipt.

In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
