Product Info
This personalized leather binder was created for musicians, songwriters, composers, screenwriters, and other creative professionals who want to keep sheet music, lyrics, chords, scripts, and project materials organized in one place.
The photographs show a real custom project completed by Mureli Workshop. For this client, we created a binder featuring a personalized design with a musician holding a guitar and lettering connected with the client's creative project.
This project illustrates the main idea behind the binder particularly well: it can be much more than a practical document organizer. It can become a physical archive of music, lyrics, scripts, drafts, and creative materials that gradually document the history of a particular project.
Sheet Music Binder for Musicians
One of the main uses for this binder is organizing sheet music and other materials used by musicians during lessons, rehearsals, recording sessions, performances, or personal practice.
The binder can be used to organize and preserve:
- sheet music;
- musical scores;
- song lyrics;
- chord charts;
- guitar tabs;
- arrangements;
- setlists;
- rehearsal materials;
- notes from a music teacher;
- concert programs;
- personal music notes;
- working versions of compositions.
Instead of keeping multiple folders, loose printed pages, and notebooks, a musician can gradually build one structured archive for their work.
For Songwriters and Composers
The binder also works well as a songwriter archive.
A song rarely appears immediately in its final form. It may begin with a few lines of lyrics, a chord progression, a melodic idea, handwritten notes, alternative arrangements, or comments made after a rehearsal.
All of these materials can be stored together and continuously expanded as the composition develops.
For example, a dedicated section can include:
- early lyric drafts;
- chord progressions;
- handwritten or printed music notation;
- alternative versions of a composition;
- studio notes;
- recording materials;
- final lyrics;
- live performance versions.
Over time, the binder can become a physical archive of the entire songwriting process.
Screenplay & Music Project Binder
Another important feature of this concept is that the binder is not limited to sheet music.
It can also be used as a screenplay binder or as an organizer for a larger creative project where music is only one part of the work.
Inside the binder, you can organize:
- screenplay drafts;
- scripts;
- dialogue pages;
- scene notes;
- character notes;
- storyboards;
- lyrics;
- musical scores;
- production notes;
- director's notes;
- materials for a musical or theater production;
- film or video project documents.
This makes the binder especially useful for composers, screenwriters, directors, musicians, playwrights, and creators working on multidisciplinary projects.
One Binder for One Creative Project
Another useful approach is to dedicate the entire binder to one specific project.
For example:
- a music album;
- an EP;
- a concert;
- a tour;
- a musical;
- a theater production;
- a film;
- a screenplay;
- a personal collection of creative work;
- an individual songwriting project.
In this format, all materials connected with the project can gradually be collected in one place — from the first idea to the final version.
The binder then becomes not only a practical working organizer, but also a physical record of how the project was created.
Flexible Organization for a Creative Process
The ring mechanism allows the structure of the binder to change together with the project.
You can:
- add new pages;
- move materials between sections;
- replace older versions;
- create separate thematic sections;
- organize materials by individual compositions;
- separate sheet music, lyrics, and scripts;
- build the archive in your own preferred order.
This flexibility makes the binder particularly useful for creative projects that continue to evolve throughout the writing, rehearsal, recording, or production process.
Plastic Page Protectors and Additional Materials
The binder can also be used with compatible plastic page protectors.
This allows you to preserve not only ordinary sheets of paper, but also materials that you may not want to punch directly.
Plastic page protectors can be used for:
- photographs;
- original handwritten pages;
- concert programs;
- tickets;
- letters;
- drawings;
- small keepsakes;
- other materials connected with the creative project.
This makes it possible to combine practical working documents and personal project memories within the same binder.
Personalization for Musicians and Creators
The photographs show a custom design created for a specific client.
Examples shown are for demonstration only.
For a new order, the binder can be made:
- without personalization;
- with your own logo;
- with a name;
- with initials;
- with the name of a music project;
- with an album title;
- with your own illustration;
- with your own custom graphic design.
This allows the binder to function either as a clean and neutral working tool or as a fully personalized archive dedicated to a musician, writer, composer, or creative project.
Custom Embossing Die
For more detailed personalization, we can create a separate physical embossing die based on the customer's own artwork.
The personalization shown in the photographs was created using this type of custom die.
After the die is produced, it can be kept for future repeat orders from the same customer.
This means the same design can be reproduced consistently if another binder or additional batch is ordered later.
An embossing die created from a customer's individual artwork is reserved exclusively for that customer's future orders.
A Personal Gift for a Musician, Songwriter, or Composer
This type of binder can also become a very personal gift for someone involved in music, writing, film, or another creative field.
It can be especially meaningful for someone who already owns musical instruments and the usual accessories and is difficult to surprise with another standard gift.
Instead, the binder can be dedicated to the person's own creative work.
It can be created for:
- a guitarist;
- a composer;
- a songwriter;
- a vocalist;
- a music teacher;
- a music student;
- a screenwriter;
- a director;
- a musical theater creator;
- someone developing a personal creative project.
An especially meaningful idea is to give the binder with the first materials already placed inside — sheet music, lyrics, photographs, drafts, or notes from the project.
A Creative Archive That Remains After the Project Is Finished
When an album, film, screenplay, musical, or other creative project is completed, the binder does not lose its purpose.
Instead, it can remain as a physical archive of the entire creative process.
Early versions, handwritten notes, revisions, final materials, photographs, and small keepsakes connected with the period of creation can all remain together in one place.
Years later, this archive may become as interesting and meaningful as the finished project itself.
This is why the Personalized Leather Sheet Music & Screenplay Binder can serve simultaneously as a practical sheet music organizer, songwriter binder, screenplay folder, and long-term archive of creative work.
Top-Grain Calf Leather
We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.
For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.
For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.
Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.
Personalization and Branding
Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. By default, we sell our products without personalization. If you would like to add your own logo, name, or text, please leave your request in the Comment field during checkout.
In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.
If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.
If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
* We offer personalization for individual and corporate orders.

Leather Selection
I work only with trusted suppliers and personally review leather before it becomes part of a product. Some hides are better for structure and firmness, while others are better for flexibility and a more expressive natural texture. This experience helps me choose the right material for the right purpose, and that decision matters in every finished piece.
