We created this project for a private client whose wife ordered two personalized leather binders as a gift for her husband, an automotive enthusiast and car collector.

Each binder was designed to store documents related to a specific vehicle. The covers were personalized with custom car illustrations, model names, and individual text. The photos show examples from the completed order.

For your binder, we can create a custom design featuring your car, the owner’s name, vehicle model, production year, collection number, or another approved inscription.

Designed for Car Documents

This binder is suitable for organizing and storing:

A4 and Letter Size Format

The binder is designed for documents in the following formats:

• A4;
• Letter Size — 8.5 × 11 inches.

The cover is made with additional space for plastic page protectors, allowing them to remain fully inside the binder without extending beyond the edges.

The approximate dimensions when open are:

• width — 21.5 inches, or 540 mm;
• height — 12.4 inches, or 315 mm.

3-Ring Mechanism

The binder shown features a metal mechanism with three round rings measuring 25 mm, or approximately 1 inch, in diameter.

Larger rings can also be installed by request if you need the binder to hold more documents. The ring size is confirmed before production.

Chestnut Crazy Horse Leather

The exterior is made from genuine Chestnut Crazy Horse leather.

This leather has a rich brown tone and a waxed surface. It naturally develops:

• lighter bend marks;
• scuffs and small scratches;
• darker and lighter areas;
• an individual patina over time.

These marks are natural characteristics of Crazy Horse leather and should not be considered defects. They work especially well with automotive designs and give the binder a distinctive vintage appearance.

Custom Personalization

The cover can be personalized with:

• a car illustration;
• the vehicle make and model;
• the production year;
• the owner’s name;
• the name of a car collection;
• a number or short inscription;
• a custom logo or another approved design.

What Is Included

The listing includes one personalized leather 3-ring binder.

Paper, plastic page protectors, documents, and other items shown in the photos for demonstration are not included.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. By default, we sell our products without personalization. If you would like to add your own logo, name, or text, please leave your request in the Comment field during checkout.

In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
