This green and brown leather A5 sketchbook organizer is designed for artists, writers and journal lovers who want to keep a sketchbook, pencils and essential creative tools together in one portable setup.

One of the most distinctive features of this design is its ability to hold both vertical and horizontal A5 sketchbooks or notebooks.

The organizer is made for A5 paper size, approximately 5.8 × 8.3 in / 148 × 210–212 mm, and the photos show both orientations in use.

This makes it especially useful for artists who switch between traditional portrait sketchbooks and landscape formats for panoramic drawings, travel sketches, studies or notes.

Size & Layout

When fully opened, the leather organizer measures approximately 16.2 × 9.1 in / 412 × 232 mm.

The right-side section accommodates an A5 sketchbook or notebook, while the left side is organized for drawing and writing tools.

The lower front pocket measures approximately 6.2 × 2.9 in / 158 × 75 mm and is useful for smaller accessories. Additional leather loops and holders keep pencils, pens and compact art tools organized and easy to reach.

Storage for Pencils & Creative Tools

The left side includes dedicated holders for pencils and pens, along with a flap pocket with snap closure for smaller items.

You can use the organizer for colored pencils, graphite pencils, pens, markers, an eraser, a small utility knife and other compact creative tools.

Western-Inspired Decorative Lacing

A signature feature of this model is the decorative leather lacing along the center fold.

This detail was developed specifically for this Mureli design. The idea was inspired by decorative leather elements seen in western and cowboy clothing and accessories.

We wanted to bring some of that character into a functional artist organizer, so the lacing became part of the visual identity of the model rather than simply an added ornament.

Long Leather Wrap Closure

The organizer closes with a long leather wrap strap that wraps around the cover.

This simple closure complements the western-inspired aesthetic and keeps the organizer compact without relying on bulky hardware.

Full-Grain Leather & Natural Character

The organizer is crafted from genuine full-grain leather. Natural grain, markings, tone and texture can vary slightly from one piece to another.

These variations are normal characteristics of real leather and give each organizer its own individual appearance.

This A5 leather sketchbook organizer is well suited for sketching, colored pencil drawing, urban sketching, travel drawing, journaling and everyday creative work.

Its combination of portrait and landscape notebook compatibility, organized pencil storage, full-grain leather construction and distinctive western-inspired detailing makes it more than a simple sketchbook cover — it is a portable creative workspace designed to travel with you.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. By default, we sell our products without personalization. If you would like to add your own logo, name, or text, please leave your request in the Comment field during checkout.

In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
