This version of our personalized valet tray is the most classic of the three color combinations. Dark oak paired with dark brown leather creates a calm, mature look, making this organizer equally suitable for a work desk, bedside table, dresser, or home office.

It is designed as a dedicated place for the small everyday items that constantly end up on a desk or nightstand: glasses, a watch, keys, earbuds, a pen, coins, cards, and other personal belongings. Instead of leaving them scattered around, you can keep everything together in one organized place.

The base is made from genuine oak and finished in a dark tone. Inside, the tray features an insert made from genuine dark brown top-grain calf leather. The leather has a protective lacquer finish and is lightly tumbled beforehand, which keeps the surface from looking completely flat and gives it a subtle natural 3D effect and more expressive texture.

Dark brown leather pairs naturally with the grain of dark oak and makes this version particularly suitable for a masculine office, executive desk setup, or personalized gift.

Tray size: approximately 25 × 18 × 2.5 cm / 9.8 × 7 × 1 in. It provides enough space for everyday essentials while remaining compact enough for a desk, nightstand, or dresser.

Personalization

Custom engraving can be added directly to the leather surface. Personalization can include:

• a name or initials;
• a date;
• a short message or phrase;
• a quote;
• a logo;
• your own custom design.

For text engraving, you can choose from 7 available font options.

There are also three main engraving locations: the upper area, center, or bottom right corner. Multiple locations can be used if needed—for example, a main message in the center with a date or initials in the lower corner.

If no personalization is needed, the tray can also be ordered with a completely blank leather surface.

Bottom Construction

We paid particular attention to the way the wooden tray rests on the surface beneath it.

The bottom features four leather feet. A dedicated recessed slot is individually milled into the wood for each foot, so the leather pieces are not simply attached to the bottom surface but carefully seated into specifically prepared recesses.

The leather feet are slightly softer than wood and help compensate for small surface irregularities and micro-vibrations. This allows the tray to be placed down more softly, reduces direct hard contact between the wooden base and the furniture surface, and helps the tray remain stable in use. The leather also creates natural friction against a desk, nightstand, or dresser and helps reduce slipping.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
