This Design No. 1 leather family recipe organizer is created as a place for recipes you do not simply want to write down, but preserve for years. It can be used to collect favorite home-cooked dishes, family recipes, holiday menus, baking recipes, cooking notes, and recipes passed from one generation to another.

A distinctive feature of this version is the two-tone combination of genuine Crazy Horse leather: a deep green main color paired with brown leather elements along the spine and edge of the cover. This contrasting construction makes the organizer noticeably different from traditional single-color cookbooks and gives it the character of a family keepsake that can remain in the kitchen for many years.

Crazy Horse leather naturally changes in appearance over time. Lighter or darker areas, bending marks, and traces of regular handling may develop during use. As the leather ages, it gradually forms its own patina, giving every cover a unique character.

The center of the front cover features a permanent “Family Recipe Book” design. This is the fixed central artwork for Design No. 1 and is included on every organizer in this listing.

If desired, you can add additional personalization in the bottom right corner with a name, initials, short text, or date. Additional personalization does not replace the central Family Recipe Book design.

A Recipe Organizer That Can Grow with Your Collection

The organizer uses a 6-ring binder mechanism, so it is different from a permanently bound notebook with a fixed number of pages.

The sheets can be:

The main idea behind this organizer is a family recipe keeper — a book that can gradually become a personal family culinary archive.

Today you may write down a recipe that is prepared regularly at home. Over the years, you can add dishes for holiday dinners, family gatherings, or special occasions. Eventually, the book may contain dozens of recipes connected to specific people, memories, events, and family traditions.

For this reason, the organizer can also be a thoughtful gift for a wedding, housewarming, anniversary, Mother's Day, or another family occasion. It can be given to a mother, grandmother, newly married couple, home cook, or anyone who enjoys collecting and preserving personal recipes.

Personalization

The central “Family Recipe Book” artwork is a permanent part of Design No. 1.

You can additionally personalize the bottom right corner with:

Additional personalization does not replace the fixed center design.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. By default, we sell our products without personalization. If you would like to add your own logo, name, or text, please leave your request in the Comment field during checkout.

In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
