This navy blue leather Check Presenter – Design #1 was created by Mureli Workshop as a custom branded order for RYOTA, a Japanese ramen and sushi restaurant in Chicago, Illinois.

For this project, we used navy blue Crazy Horse leather and applied the restaurant logo with silver foil stamping. The contrast between the deep blue leather and the bright silver logo highlights the brand artwork and gives the check presenter a clean, modern appearance.

This version is especially suitable for Japanese restaurants, ramen bars, sushi restaurants, noodle restaurants, and Asian dining venues looking for compact branded check presenters for everyday service.

Design #1

This is one of our most minimal and practical check presenter constructions. Inside, there is a large pocket that can hold a guest check, cash, receipts, or other payment materials.

The narrow format keeps the presenter compact on the table while still providing enough space for everyday restaurant use.

The compact proportions make this design convenient for presenting the bill after lunch, dinner, or bar service without taking up unnecessary space on the table.

Custom Branding for Your Restaurant

This check presenter can be made with your own restaurant logo.

Depending on the artwork, leather type, and desired visual effect, we can use different personalization methods, including:

For this RYOTA project, we used silver foil, creating a strong contrast against the navy blue leather.

Made for Restaurants and Hospitality Projects

These leather check presenters can be produced for both smaller restaurant orders and larger hospitality projects.

They are suitable for Japanese restaurants, ramen bars, sushi restaurants, noodle bars, Asian restaurants, contemporary dining venues, cafés, bars, and other hospitality businesses where consistent branding matters throughout the guest experience — from the menu presentation to the final bill.

The RYOTA logo belongs to its respective owner and is shown only as an example of completed custom branding. For a new order, we will personalize the check presenters with your own logo, artwork, or restaurant design.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
