This leather check presenter was created for establishments where even the moment the bill is presented is part of the overall guest experience. It is especially well suited for restaurants, taverns, steakhouses, lodge restaurants, mountain and countryside venues, boutique hotels, and other hospitality spaces with a distinctive natural, rustic, or heritage-inspired aesthetic.

The presenter is crafted from genuine Crazy Horse leather, a dense leather known for its rich depth of color and naturally evolving surface. With regular use, subtle variations in tone and patina gradually develop, giving each piece its own individual character. This quality makes Crazy Horse leather especially suitable for interiors featuring wood, stone, dark metal, and other natural materials.

This is Design No. 6 from our collection of functional leather check presenters. Inside, there is a large curved pocket for the receipt and cash, a separate pocket for a credit or debit card, and an integrated pen loop. This layout keeps everything needed for the final stage of restaurant service neatly organized without adding unnecessary bulk.

The shape of the main interior pocket also allows easy access to the receipt, while the card remains separate and clearly visible for staff. When closed, the presenter has a clean and professional appearance, making it suitable both for everyday restaurant service and for more premium dining environments.

Custom Restaurant Branding

Personalization is an important part of this design. The photographs show a real custom order completed by Mureli Workshop for Sweet Grass Tavern. For this project, the venue’s logo was blind embossed on the front of the presenters. The dark impression on brown Crazy Horse leather creates a restrained, natural appearance: the logo is clearly recognizable without making the piece feel overly promotional.

For new orders, we can personalize the presenter with a restaurant logo, venue name, monogram, or another graphic design. Depending on the selected leather and the desired appearance, blind embossing or another available personalization method may be used. These presenters can be produced for a single restaurant, a group of venues, a new opening, or a complete restaurant branding update.

The standard size of this model is approximately 4.3 × 7.2 in (110 × 185 mm) when closed and 8.5 × 7.2 in (218 × 185 mm) when open.

Custom dimensions can also be produced when a different receipt format, card layout, or specific venue requirement is needed.

Designed for Restaurants, Taverns & Hospitality

This format works particularly well for taverns, steakhouses, lodges, mountain restaurants, country restaurants, rustic restaurants, resort dining, and hospitality projects where leather table accessories should support the overall atmosphere and branding of the venue rather than look like generic restaurant supplies.

For Sweet Grass Tavern, we also produced matching leather menu covers in the same leather color and with the same custom branding, creating a coordinated collection of restaurant table accessories. For new projects, we can likewise produce check presenters, menu covers, and other leather restaurant accessories in one consistent visual style.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
