This 8.5 x 11 leather restaurant menu board was created by Mureli Workshop as a real custom project for Petronita’s Southern and Latin Cuisine in Jacksonville, Florida.

For this project, the restaurant selected rich green genuine leather combined with a black genuine suede leather surface and a gold logo. The combination creates a distinctive presentation that works especially well for Southern and Latin restaurants, contemporary dining concepts, fine dining venues, cocktail bars, and other hospitality businesses looking for a more refined alternative to standard printed menu holders.

This is a single-page leather menu board, rather than a folding menu cover. It is designed specifically around the standard US Letter paper format.

The printed menu is held in place by four leather corner holders, allowing the sheet to be inserted and replaced without punching holes or using rings, clips, or plastic sleeves.

This makes it easy for restaurants to update printed menus while continuing to use the same leather menu boards.

Genuine Leather Construction

The front side is made from green genuine leather.

The menu side features black genuine suede leather, creating a soft matte background that contrasts with the green leather corner holders.

The menu board is stitched around the perimeter, while each leather corner holder is also individually stitched.

The combination of smooth green leather and black suede gives the board a distinctive two-texture construction while keeping the overall design clean and minimal.

Optional Double-Sided Configuration

The version shown in the photographs uses four leather corner holders on one side.

If requested, we can also install four corner holders on both sides of the menu board. This allows restaurants to use both sides for separate 8.5 x 11 printed menu pages.

A double-sided configuration can be useful for restaurants that want, for example:

Custom Restaurant Logo

For the Petronita’s project, the restaurant logo was applied in gold foil, creating a strong contrast against the green leather.

This project for Petronita’s in Jacksonville, Florida demonstrates how a standard 8.5 x 11 printed menu can become part of the restaurant’s visual identity through the use of genuine leather, contrasting suede, and custom branding.

Printed paper menus shown in the photographs or used with the holder are not included. Restaurants can print and replace their own 8.5 x 11 inserts whenever needed.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
