This custom leather check presenter shows how Mureli Workshop can work not only with an individual restaurant, but with an entire restaurant group.

We previously produced leather check presenters with logo branding for one location within a restaurant group. Later, the group’s management referred another restaurant to us. The manager of the new location simply sent photos of the existing check presenters as a reference and asked us to reproduce a similar model for their restaurant.

For a multi-location restaurant group, this means an approved design does not need to be developed again from the beginning each time.

Reproducing an Existing Check Presenter from Reference Photos

If a restaurant already uses a check presenter it likes, we can work from reference photos, a previous order or an approved physical sample.

We review the construction, dimensions, pocket layout, leather, stitching and branding, then prepare the model for the new location. This approach is especially useful for restaurant groups that want consistent service accessories across several properties.

The front cover can be customized with the restaurant’s logo. For different locations within the same group, we can keep the approved construction while changing the logo or other branding details for the individual restaurant.

A restaurant check presenter with logo therefore becomes more than a practical bill holder. It can also be part of the restaurant’s overall visual identity and guest experience.

Functional Interior for Everyday Restaurant Service

This type of leather bill presenter is designed for regular restaurant use. Depending on the project, the interior can include a large pocket for a check or receipt, a smaller card pocket and a pen holder.

The pocket arrangement, dimensions, leather color, stitching and other construction details can also be adapted to the way a particular restaurant operates.

Once a model has been approved, our goal is to make future orders easier and more consistent.

We can retain the main product specifications, approved logo artwork and production details so the restaurant can later order additional quantities or use the same custom restaurant check holder for another location within the group.

This project is a good example of that workflow. One restaurant within the group already uses our leather check presenters, while another location contacted us through a management referral and provided photos of the existing model for reproduction.

This makes it easier for restaurant groups to maintain a consistent style between locations while allowing each restaurant to use its own branding where needed.

Custom Leather Goods for Restaurants & Hospitality

Mureli Workshop can produce branded restaurant check presenters for individual restaurants, restaurant chains, hospitality groups and other multi-location concepts.

We can reproduce an approved model or adapt it for a new property by changing the leather, color, pocket configuration, stitching, logo or other details.

Once a design is approved, it can be retained for repeat production, additional quantities and future restaurant locations.

Photos may show a previously produced model used as a reference for repeat production or adaptation for another location.

We use top-grain calf leather and carefully select it for each type of product. Where strength and structural stability are needed, we choose denser sections of the leather. Where elasticity, softness, and a more natural texture matter, we use more flexible parts of the material.

For example, we cut leather desk pads along the upper line of the hide, which is usually flatter and more even. Rolls, on the other hand, are cut along the lower line of the hide, which is more elastic and often has a more interesting natural texture. This approach allows us to combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability in the right way.

For corporate orders, we can also offer a wider range of calf leather depending on the requirements of a particular project and the needs of the brand.

Since leather is a natural material, each product has its own unique characteristics. The shade, texture, density, and surface character may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. This is part of the value of genuine leather — every изделие preserves the living character of the material and its natural uniqueness.

Any personalization shown in the photos in our listings, including logos, names, initials, or text, is provided for demonstration purposes only. In many cases, we can complete laser engraving directly at the warehouse and ship the order on the same day, so this usually does not affect the dispatch time. If embossing with a metal die is required, the work is completed in our workshop in Ukraine, so delivery usually takes about 9 days instead of 1–3 days for orders shipped from our warehouse in the USA.

If the personalization includes the customer’s logo, our designer first prepares a digital mockup for approval. For wholesale and corporate orders, we also produce the first item from the batch as a sample, approve it separately, and only after the second approval do we proceed with the full production run.

If the order is shipped from Ukraine, we independently pay all customs duties and mandatory charges regardless of the destination country, so the customer does not face additional costs or difficulties when receiving the parcel.
